Rachel Cameron

Thoroughly Modern Millie marks Rachel’s fifth appearance with The Apollo Players, having joined us as a member of the Salvation Army in Guys. She then appeared as a soloist in our concert Sentimental Journey at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall. In April this year she landed her first leading role with us as Serena in Fame. July 2006 saw Rachel wow audiences with her touching performance as Eponine in Les Miserables, a role which she looks forward to reprising in February 2007 at the Pavilion Theatre. Rachel has had a love of theatre from a very young age, and her love for singing made her an active member of Our Lady and St Patrick’s High School. At school she participated in numerous shows, and went on to achieve a Higher B for Drama and a Higher A in Music for singing. Rachel would like to thank her family and friends for their love and support, and would like to dedicate all her performances to her mum and dad.
